February Challenge
January and Nasmastomo has passed and I'll miss this daily challenge, so I have set myself a new observational writing goal for the month of February, using poetry or prose to describe someone with whom I've had an encounter that day. This may be personal, in passing, a photograph, on television or even radio. I hope to record some small detail of their life that I might otherwise have missed. It would be wonderful if others took up this challenge as a means to inspire daily writing habits.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea Merlene - great follow-on from small stones. I look forward to reading them I couldn't do this one - as there are many days when I see no-one other than my husband!
ReplyDeleteThank you Elyssa. I look forward to your visits.
ReplyDeleteIt is a hard one, Mavis, as I am in a similar situation some days. That's when I rely on television or radio for inspiration, hoping something will reveal itself to me.
I've really enjoyed reading your stones, Merlene, so I'm glad you're keeping them going. And yes, some days I have to dig really deep to find something other than mud or wet leaves to write about!
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific idea. Mind if I join you?
