Nanowrimo update

Made it to 50,000 words in 27 days. I haven't read back over any of what I've written so far and have decided to finish the mss (50-70,000 more words) before I look at any of it. The most difficult part of working in this way is remembering characters (I now have a character chart made up) timelines and sub plots. A very worthwhile experience.

I've been cheating, so to speaking, and have been attempting over 50 000 words of sonnets, mainly free verse sonnets. The aim has been 600 sonnets, and I am writing 541-560 tonight, with the rest over the next two nights.

It's been quite the journey, quite often exhausting, but it has helped me loosen up a lot more as a poet.

Congratulations! A mighty effort. (I did it once; which was great fun and confirmed me in my opinion that I am no novelist, lol.
